NHK Professional: Shigoto No Ryuugi

This is my all time favorite television series and I am going to really gush when talking about this show. It chronicles the lives of professionals in all different walks of life. The program follows these professionals into their workplace and provides an inside view of their daily dealings at the job site. This is interweaved with the professionals confiding to the audience their personal history, evolution, trials and tribulations.

It is a really inspiring show because it encourages me to live my life to the fullest and work for others. The documentary shows people who have discovered what their mission in life is, what they were put on this earth to do and you see them putting their entire lives into moving forward on the road they chose. I watch this program and I want to be like these people. You are able to see their inner lives shining and radiating out of them and giving all they got. You can also tell that these people work not for money but to carry out their job with passion. You get a feeling of nobility when you hear their stories.

To sum it up, this program focuses on what it is to be a true professional at work and what are the keys to becoming one. All in all it is a great show but unfortunately it is in Japanese which is a tragedy. I think everyone would benefit from this program and feel a sense of passion surging forth in their lives from watching this program.
